Young and the Restless Recap (Spoilers Ahead!)
Today on The Young and the Restless: Phyllis attempts to provoke Sally, Tessa encourages Daniel to expand his perspective, and Claire and Kyle decide on their future—together.

Claire and Kyle Take the Next Step
At Society, Kyle expresses concern to Claire about how quickly her mom and grandmother cleared out. Claire eases his mind, revealing that she told them she plans to move in with him.
Surprised but touched, Kyle listens as Claire reassures him—she even got the blessing from both her mother and Nikki. This bold move, she says, is to show Victor she’s serious about her relationship.
As Kyle drowns his coffee in sugar, he points out that Victor’s opinion seems to weigh heavily on her. Claire agrees but insists that their decision to live together should be solely about them.
Claire then opens up about her feelings, saying she’s falling in love. Although she’s never been in love before, she knows what she feels is real. Even Kyle’s quirks—like his mountain-train whistle snore—make her smile.
She admits she thinks of him constantly, even during romantic movie scenes or while seeing puppies. Kyle brushes her hair back and confesses his love too, repeating it with confidence as they kiss.
The two start making plans to find a place with space for Harrison, hopeful he’ll be excited about their next chapter. While Kyle is unsure Victor will approve, Claire is ready to fight for their love—just like Nikki did for Victor.
Billy Challenges Phyllis Over Daniel’s Role
Over at the GCAC, Billy confronts Phyllis about Daniel—asking if he’s in or out at Abbott Communications. Phyllis insists Daniel is on board; he just needs encouragement.
Billy, however, disagrees. While he understands Phyllis’s desire to help her son after everything they’ve been through, he believes Daniel needs to chart his own path. Pressuring him might only push him further away.
Phyllis argues from a parent’s perspective, but Billy points out Daniel has made it clear he doesn’t want the job. He reminds her that if Daniel isn’t committed, it could jeopardize the company’s momentum. That raises the question: is Phyllis still in?
Sally listens quietly as tension builds. Phyllis accuses her of being judgmental and hating the idea of her working alongside Billy. Billy defends Sally, saying she’s not the issue.
Sensing rising tempers, Sally suggests leaving to de-escalate the situation, but Phyllis continues to unravel. When Billy again presses for her commitment, she swears she’s fully dedicated and will give it her all.
After Phyllis storms out, Sally comments that Billy is being too kind. She warns him that Phyllis is unpredictable and could damage everything they’re building at Abbott Communications.
Billy invites her opinion, and Sally doesn’t hold back—urging him to consider cutting Phyllis loose before things spiral.
Tessa Gives Daniel a Much-Needed Pep Talk
Meanwhile, Daniel receives some heartfelt encouragement from Tessa. She urges him to think outside the box and consider what truly makes him happy, rather than being pushed into something he doesn’t want. Her words seem to resonate, leaving Daniel with a lot to reflect on.
