Vitaly Zdorovetskiy Shows Noticeable Weight Loss After Transfer to Philippine Jail Amid Criminal Case
Russian-American YouTuber and content creator Vitaly Zdorovetskiy appears visibly thinner in newly surfaced images following his transfer to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in the Philippines. The update, originally reported by The Philippine Star, comes after his controversial arrest in Pasay City on April 3, 2025.
According to the Philippine Bureau of Immigration, Zdorovetskiy was officially handed over to BJMP custody five days prior to their June 16 statement. Recent photos show him in handcuffs, and many online observers were quick to point out the significant weight loss and change in his physical appearance since his initial detainment.
The 33-year-old internet personality is currently facing multiple criminal charges in the Philippines. The charges stem from a series of livestreamed incidents in Bonifacio Global City, where Zdorovetskiy was allegedly involved in harassing a private security guard, disturbing an elderly woman, and stealing both a tricycle and an electric fan, which were later abandoned. The livestream was broadcast on his Kick account under the title “Vitaly DISTURBING THE PEACE in Philippines” before the channel was taken offline.
Zdorovetskiy had applied for bail, assuring authorities that he would stay within Metro Manila and comply with any future deportation rulings. However, Immigration Commissioner Joel Viado firmly denied the request, stating:
“Foreign nationals who abuse our hospitality and break our laws must face the consequences. There will be no special treatment.”
Earlier this month, Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla revealed that both Russia and the United States (where Zdorovetskiy holds a green card) had refused to accept his repatriation at this stage. As a result, he will remain in BJMP custody until all legal proceedings in the Philippines are concluded. Once his cases are resolved, the Philippine immigration authorities will initiate formal deportation procedures.
