Tron: Catalyst Release Date Announced: June 17, 2025

Prepare for a new chapter in the Tron universe—Tron: Catalyst is set to debut on June 17, 2025, and will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. This sequel builds on the narrative introduced in Bithell Games’ Tron: Identity, a 2023 visual novel puzzle game that took place 13 years after the events of 2010’s Tron: Legacy.

In Tron: Catalyst, players assume the role of Exo, a digital program with the unique ability to manipulate time loops. As Exo, you’ll embark on a quest to unravel the mystery behind a dangerous Glitch that is threatening the very fabric of the Grid, all while evading Conn, a determined Core agent on her relentless pursuit.

According to the game’s official description, you’ll “battle as Exo on-foot in agile combat and explore the Arq Grid on Light Cycle to complete missions, gaining crucial insights to help advance Exo’s quest.” By leveraging the Glitch’s time-rewinding powers, players will have the chance to learn from past mistakes, navigate through warring factions, and unlock hidden secrets of the Arq Grid.
