NFL Draft 2025 Day 3: Start Time, Pick Details, and What to Expect

Saturday is always the busiest day of the draft — and the longest. After 32 picks on Thursday and 70 more on Friday, there are 155 selections still to come across the final four rounds.

The good news? Even though there are a lot of picks, things will move quicker. Teams will have five minutes to make each pick during Rounds 4 through 6, and just four minutes per pick in Round 7. That means expect a fast-paced, action-packed day as teams race to grab the best remaining talent.

What Time Does the NFL Draft Start Today?

• Start Time: 12:00 p.m. ET | 9:00 a.m. PT

Day 3 kicks off at noon Eastern Time. The team holding the 103rd overall pick will be on the clock first to get the day rolling.

From there, the draft will speed through the remaining rounds until the very last selection, famously known as “Mr. Irrelevant,” is made.

When Will the 2025 NFL Draft End?

There’s no official end time, but the broadcast is scheduled to wrap up around 7:00 p.m. ET.

However, depending on how fast teams make their picks (and remember — they only have a few minutes each!), it could finish a little earlier.

How Much Time Between Picks on Day 3?

Here’s how much time teams get per pick:

• Round 1: 10 minutes
• Round 2: 7 minutes
• Round 3: 5 minutes
• Round 4: 5 minutes
• Round 5: 5 minutes
• Round 6: 5 minutes
• Round 7: 4 minutes

Saturday will feel quicker because teams have less time to decide, especially in the final round.
